Our Philosophy
At Oxana BēWell Institute, we believe true wellness begins where knowledge becomes embodiment, when wellbeing moves from theory into the way we live, lead, and connect daily.
Our philosophy is rooted in the understanding that genuine wellbeing arises when body, mind, and heart exist in harmony.
As Mahatma Gandhi said: “We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him.”
We guide hospitality leaders and teams to embody this balance in their work and daily lives, transforming wellness from an amenity into a lived experience that radiates through every guest interaction and community they touch.
At the core of our approach is the understanding that wellness isn’t something imposed; it’s something lived from within.
Our mission is to elevate the hospitality industry through meaningful education, experiential and immersive training, and ongoing support, ensuring that long-lasting transformation happens authentically, from the inside out. Because when people thrive, so do the places they create.
About the Founder
The story of Oxana BēWell Institute began with movement. From a young age, Oxana danced, expressing life through rhythm and flow. But when she later faced serious hip challenges, she discovered that healing is never purely physical. Her journey revealed that the body, mind, and heart are deeply interconnected, and that true wellbeing comes from nurturing all three.
This realization sparked a lifelong devotion to holistic healing. Through deep introspection and study, Oxana learned that authentic living begins in the heart, when we align with our truth, cultivate self-love, and care for ourselves and our surroundings with gentleness and awareness.
After earning her Bachelor’s in International Business and a Master’s in International Commerce and Policy, Oxana built a successful 20-year career in hospitality, working with major hotel brands and organizations including Marriott International, citizenM, Aimbridge Hospitality and others, helping develop hotels and shape guest experiences.
Over time, her passion for creating meaningful human experiences naturally guided her toward a new calling: wellness. Having personally navigated stress and health challenges while balancing a demanding career, she developed a deep understanding of the mind–body connection and the importance of true wellbeing.
A certified yoga teacher (500+ hours) and certified life coach, she founded her first company, BEAM (Body Energy Awareness and Movement), focusing on holistic healing and personal transformation. There, she created the Body–Mind–Heart Method—a transformative approach helping people understand the roots of stress, harmonize emotions, rewire the nervous system, and turn challenges into strength.
She later brought this work to a spiritual and holistic retreat center in California, where she led wellness retreats, classes, and programs designed to guide others toward authentic wellbeing.
Bridging her hospitality background with her passion for wellbeing, Oxana went on to play a pivotal role as Vice President of Wellness Standards and Development at WITT (Wellness in Travel & Tourism), the leading independent certification setting global wellness standards for hotels and resorts. In this role, she led the creation of pioneering global wellness standards for hotels and resorts, developed education and training programs for hospitality teams and auditors, and guided properties in authentically integrating wellness into every touchpoint of their operations.
Today, as the founder of BēWell Institute, Oxana combines her deep understanding of hospitality operations, holistic wellness, and human connection to help hotels, teams, and individuals embody wellness as a way of life. Her approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that when people thrive so do the places they create.
